Dede is the mother of 3 children, is highly involved as a school volunteer and a practicing mental health therapist. She lives in Liberty Hill, Texas with her husband and Vizsla dogs. Dede has a kind and giving heart. She started my career in law before moving into social work, wanting a more personal way to help people. She earned her MSW from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011 and have practiced in the Austin area since, working with children, adults and families in medical and psychiatric settings. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, Minnesota, and Virginia.

Her volunteer work for Heartwood Village has been above and beyond.
